The Center for Applied Linguistics is recruiting heritage language learners 18 or older in grades 11-16 to serve on a paid student advisory panel. The purpose of this panel is to support the development and dissemination of materials highlighting federal government career opportunities for heritage language learners of Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Persian, and Russian.

Advisory panel members will meet three times during the project (2021-2023), and the panel will review draft project materials and upcoming plans during each meeting. Meetings will be conducted virtually and will last approximately 90 minutes, and all advisory panel members will receive a $50 gift card after each meeting as a recognition of their time.

If you would like to participate in the student advisory panel, please complete this application by Monday, November 8th. If you have any questions, please contact Jamie Morgan ([email protected]).
