November 8, 2021 | Leave a comment Ms. Usmani currently serves as a member of the United States Diplomatic Corps as a U.S Agency for International Development (USAID) Foreign Service Officer. She has over a decade of experience working on energy and infrastructure issues in non-permissive environments, including Latin America, Middle East, and South Asia. Prior to joining the Foreign Service, Ms. Usmani served as the Senior Infrastructure Advisor within USAID’s Bureau for Asia and Office of Afghanistan and Pakistan Affairs, leading the charge in providing reliable energy and infrastructure services to the region. Ms. Usmani holds a Masters in Regional Planning from Cornell University and a Bachelors in Urban Planning from University of Cincinnati.
